Devlog 8: another week, another feature
Hello friends following along with the devlog, a lot of cool stuff this week, lets get straight into it:
Art
UI
a lot of UI stuff got added (a splash screen, a general UI during the game, a countdown). Everything can be seen in the video below.
UI stuff
Our artist cooked up some extra icons for our upgrade menu.
Animations
Some extra animations got added to our ghost.
Coding
a heap of features
Our programmer put in a lot of effort to make our game flow better a short list of the added features
- UI, team select and splash screen all got added
- Screen shake got added to the players shooting
- A zoom in whenever the final kill is made
- The fundamentals for the upgrade system
Sound
and a heap of sound features
Our sound team has also been very busy here's all the sound features that got added
- The vacuum action has been remade, and sounds better now
- A confirmation sound got added whenever the player collects a ghost fully
- The game has been mixed somewhat properly so that all the sounds are actually audible now
- Some backend stuff got configured properly to make the music system work more efficiently
- All UI sounds and splash screen sounds got added
