Devlog 7: Some much needed polish


Hello friends following along with our devlog, we grace you again with some lovely progress, a lot got achieved this week so let me just get straight into it


Art

colours 

Our lovely necromancers got some extra colours, now you actually know what team you're on based of the colour of your character, cool stuff.

extra scenery 

Our lovely artist made some extra scenery to make the graveyard more lively, like this beautiful flickering light


grounded (again)

our artist also reworked the ground material, its far more graveyard esque now, don't you think.



Coding 

player feedback 

Our programmers were hard at work this week to add more player feedback, the controller now vibrates whenever you shoot and the screen shakes whenever you shoot, this obviously goes a long way in making our game feel more polished.

Dimming lights babyyyy 

The lights start dimming whenever the camera starts zooming in, this goes a long way in making the final part of a round feel a lot more intense.

Sound

interactive music system (for real this time)

the interactive music system that was made last week is now actually hooked up to the code, which means it actually responds to gameplay now, granted this was a bigger endeavour then the sound team initially anticipated.
